Originally bought to keep down the grass which the horses wouldn’t eat, the flock has increased in size to 12 ewes and are regularly shown and bred from. We aim to support the native rare breeds and continue to produce stock that improves the quality of the lines. Our eldest son Peter is now responsible for the flock.

Luke’s pedigree Shetland Sheep flock was established in 2022 with two breeding ewes. Since then, he has lambed successfully and increased the flock to 13 ewes inc 7 ewe lambs from 2025

Since being bought as pets, four ewes have been added to the flock. plus retaining a ewe from 2025 . Herriot, our Wether, enjoys spending time with the younger horses and the people who cross our land. They will be shown at various shows

Saffy is our homebred mare , she was backed 2024 and Hannah my second eldest daughter has been bringing her on very well.

Izzy was bought in as a 6mth foal and was bought for Luke as a leadrein pony . she has now retired from this and we wait to see the next step for her

Kusse is now 17 years old an elite mare we bought in as a 6mth old foal . She has won numerous prizes in hand inc supreme champion at the breed show.

she has had 3 foals , Sophie ,Saffy and Teddy.
