Originally bought to keep down the grass which the horses wouldn’t eat, the flock has increased in size to ten and is regularly shown and bred from. We aim to support the native rare breeds and continue to produce stock that improves the quality of the lines.

Luke’s pedigree Shetland Sheep flock was established in 2022 with two breeding ewes. Since then, he has lambed successfully and increased the flock to five; one of which is home-bred.

Since being bought as pets, three ewes have been added to the flock. Herriot, our Wether, enjoys spending time with the younger horses and the people who cross our land. They will be shown and put into lamb in the future.
